Our luxury cottage is nestled in between some of the most beautiful places Yorkshire has to offer! From the beach and restaurants of Robin Hoods Bay to Whitby and Scarborough, there’s plenty for the keen explorer to enjoy.
Robin Hoods Bay
All the amenities the village of Robin Hoods Bay has to offer are only a short walking distance away. With a beautiful beach, restaurants, cafés, and pubs, there is plenty nearby for our guests to enjoy!
The bay also provides gorgeous views which can be especially enjoyed whilst walking the Cinder Track, a part of the Cleveland Way. This old, disused railway track is just across the road from Penny Hedge Cottage so the lovely scenes are just a few short steps away.
Whitby
This historic seaside town is just a short 6 miles away.
Visitors can enjoy its excellent beaches, cultural attractions, and of course fantastic eateries. For those who would prefer to take the bus, there is a stop very close to the cottage and it takes just a few minutes to reach this beautiful location. Keen walkers can also enjoy a relatively short walk to Whitby along the Cinder Track or Cleveland Way with their walk accompanied by gorgeous clifftop views.
Scarborough
Rain or shine, there is plenty to do in this stunning town.
From its beaches and gardens to its restaurants and shops, Scarborough has something for everyone. Just a short hop at 17 miles away, the local bus can get you there in just a few minutes and drivers will find parking is affordable with plenty of options near to attractions.
